AND MARKETING
WaveSplitter adds Steve Tsui to its Executive Team
OFC, Baltimore, MD, March 6, 2000 - WaveSplitter Technologies
Inc., a leading supplier of optical amplifier and DWDM components,
today announced the appointment of Steve Tsui to Vice President
of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Tsui brings over 20 years sales
experience working for world-class companies including IBM, Acer
America and Intellicorp to complement the existing technical, manufacturing
and operational expertise already in place at WaveSplitter.
At WaveSplitter, Mr. Tsuis primary responsibility will be
to strengthen the relationships with WaveSplitters customers
while promoting the core values that inspire WaveSplitters
position as a leader in quality, innovation and customer service.
Tsui will lead the effort to ensure that the companys aggressive
sales goals are met as WaveSplitter continues to meet the explosive
demand for optical amplifier and DWDM components.

Tsui brings over 25 years of experience and knowledge to WaveSplitter
Prior to joining WaveSplitter, Tsui has held senior executive positions
at Intellicorp, Walker Interactive, Acer and IBM. During Mr. Tsuis
tenure as sales executive and manager with IBM, he routinely achieved
forty to fifty percent annual growth in revenue. As the Vice President
of Sales at Acer America, he took the company from $70 million per
year to $865 million per year over a four year period. Most recently,
he served as President of Intellicorp.
