ANAHEIM, CA - March 19, 2001 - Today at the OFC show, WaveSplitter
Technologies, Inc., a worldwide supplier of fiber-optic components
for optical amplifier and DWDM systems, announced that it has added
custom optical module and subsystem capabilities to its fused fiber
and planar lightguide circuit (PLC) technology platforms. This module
capability enables WaveSplitter to work closely and collaboratively
with system integrators to meet their specific system needs. WaveSplitter's
module capabilities include complex fiber routing and management
solutions; dense packaging; and rapid design and prototyping utilizing
WaveSplitter's fused fiber, PLC and micro-optic product platforms.
