FREMONT, California, June 06, 2000 - WaveSplitter
Technologies Inc, a worldwide supplier of fiber optic components
for optical amplifier and DWDM systems, has successfully passed
its first ISO 9001-surveillance audit. WaveSplitter passed this
audit with zero non-conformities, the best result possible. This
periodic audit was performed following WaveSplitter's initial ISO
9001 certification in October, 1999.
The purpose of this 6-month audit was to ensure that WaveSplitter
is adhering to all ISO 9001 procedures and guidelines. The audit
specifically looks at the effectiveness of the organization in such
critical areas as document and process control, internal quality
audits, and management responsibility, to name a few.
Since receiving its ISO 9001 certification in October,1999, WaveSplitter
has continued to demonstrate its core company value of total commitment
to quality and reliability. "Wavesplitter has achieved all
benchmarks which are set by the International Standards Organization
(ISO). We continue to meet all ISO expectations and strive to be
a leader in quality and customer satisfaction," said Steve
